About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ReactJS Developer to join our team in Bangalore. This role requires 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in frontend development, focusing on building high-quality, maintainable, and performant user interfaces for the banking sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert intricate business needs into detailed technical blueprints.
- Define project scope and accurately estimate development efforts.
- Work closely with product owners and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of features.
- Produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best industry standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide valuable feedback for continuous improvement.
- Quickly identify and resolve coding and application issues.
- Engage in architectural discussions and support technical decision-making processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong expertise in React, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and SCSS/CSS3.
- Proficient in using Functional Components, Higher-Order Components, Custom Hooks, Context API, and React performance optimization techniques including useMemo, useCallback, and React.memo.
- Hands-on experience with Redux Toolkit, Redux Thunk or Redux Saga for state management.
- Familiarity with TanStack Query (React Query) for efficient server state management, caching, and synchronization.
- Experience consuming REST APIs and some knowledge of GraphQL is advantageous.
- Understanding of module bundlers and build tools such as Webpack, Vite, Babel, and npm.
- Version control familiarity with Git platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Basic knowledge of AWS cloud services and related technologies.
- Competency with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
- Awareness of frontend security best practices including JWT, OAuth2, XSS, and CSRF protections.
- Ability to develop responsive, accessible, mobile-first interfaces compatible across browsers meeting WCAG accessibility standards and current UI/UX trends.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams using modern development pipelines and tools.
- Skills in performance optimization techniques including lazy loading, code splitting, and frontend monitoring.
- Experience with Material UI or comparable component frameworks.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Knowledge of Next.js including SSR, SSG, and ISR.
- Experience with Storybook for UI component development.
- Exposure to Module Federation and Micro-Frontend Architectures.
- Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience using monitoring tools such as Datadog, Grafana, New Relic, or Sentry.
