Key Responsibilities

• Lead and personally handle the monthly and yearly group closing and consolidation activities across Singapore and Southeast Asian operations under SFRS and IFRS standards.
• Oversee accounting functions related to fintech credit products such as buy-now-pay-later, microfinance, and salary advances, ensuring precise loan provision tracking.
• Act as the principal liaison for all external audits and tax compliance matters including GST and Corporate Tax filings.
• Drive the enhancement and automation of accounting systems to reduce manual work and optimize regional financial reporting.
• Manage regional treasury operations including cash flow supervision, strategic fund allocations, and debt facility compliance monitoring.
• Lead and mentor a compact finance team to maintain accuracy and efficiency in daily financial processes.

Candidate Profile

• Pursuing or holding a degree in Accountancy or Finance with current credentials such as CA Singapore, CPA, or ACCA.
• 7 to 10 years of comprehensive accounting experience, ideally combining prior tenure in a Big Four or respected mid-tier audit firm with roles in startup or SME environments.
• Preferred background in fintech, credit lending, or banking sectors.
• Proficiency and updated knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Demonstrated ability to implement technology to boost finance operational efficiency; experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP or similar systems is advantageous.
• A proactive, meticulous approach paired with commercial acumen and a strong sense of responsibility.
