Senior Client Project Manager

About the Role

Join ACI Worldwide in Limerick, Ireland as a Senior Client Project Manager, playing a crucial part in managing and delivering multiple payments-related projects. This position involves leading teams, coordinating resources, and ensuring compliance with both company policies and customer contracts across projects typically lasting 6 to 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Master all customer contractual obligations and ensure they are meticulously monitored.
• Define and control project scope, apply organizational standards and manage changes effectively.
• Oversee project budgets, monitor scope or scheduling changes impacting finances, and forecast resource needs accurately.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and proposals to guarantee completion within time and budget constraints.
• Manage comprehensive project phases including research, design, testing, negotiation, status reporting, training, implementation, and closure.
• Provide timely monthly Estimated Time to Completion (ETC) updates to the finance team to support revenue forecasting.
• Implement governance frameworks ensuring stakeholders remain informed and escalations are resolved efficiently.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues using RAID logs and effective communication approaches.
• Equip project teams with protocols needed to deliver quality solutions and meet commitments.
• Regularly update project management tools like Jira and Salesforce with relevant data.
• Review and approve team members' timecards to ensure accurate tracking.
• Maintain and disseminate weekly project status updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and sustain productive relationships with customers and all stakeholders fostering effective communication.
• Lead post-project evaluations to analyze achievements and areas for improvement.
• Adapt project methodology (Waterfall, Agile-SCRUM/Kanban, or hybrid) collaboratively with clients and internal teams, often fulfilling Scrum Master duties when applicable.
• Ensure projects commence with aligned methodology, budget, scope, and planning after method adoption workshops.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.
• Comply with all corporate policies including the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 7 years in client project management, with at least 5 years focused on payments or financial services sectors.
• Preferred: formal project management training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Strong organizational skills and adeptness at planning.
• Effective stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
• Advanced problem-solving skills.
