Role Overview
This senior business analyst position offers an opportunity to conduct comprehensive strategic analysis across multiple product areas and business functions at Rightmove. You will be part of the Programmes & Analysis team, providing thorough insights and guiding the successful delivery of projects and initiatives from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders across all organizational levels to produce precise and insightful analysis, sometimes integrating light project management as needed.
- Evaluate new product opportunities, investigate multifaceted issues affecting various departments, and analyze diverse data sources to answer critical questions.
- Develop a deep understanding of Rightmove’s business framework, structure, and technology landscape by leveraging team knowledge.
- Engage with colleagues from Sales, Finance, People, Operations, and Product Development to build rapport and enhance domain knowledge.
- Create deliverables suited for different audiences—ranging from detailed analytical reports to executive summaries, presentations, project plans, and risk logs.
- Adapt fluidly between strategic oversight, detailed technical analysis, and operational planning within short timeframes.
- Contribute to advancing the business analysis practice by setting high standards and mentoring junior team members.

- Quick to assimilate knowledge across diverse business and product areas.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, building trust, influencing outcomes, and facilitating decisions.
- Project management expertise covering scoping, planning, risk management, and reporting through to project closure.
- Advanced competence in requirements elicitation, discovery, and problem framing based on stakeholder and customer insights.
- Experienced in analyzing current and future processes and journeys with qualitative and quantitative methods to identify root causes and prioritize impactful changes.
- Adept at leading options analysis, balancing factors like value, risk, feasibility, and operations to support senior decision-making.
- Excellent analytical skills for data interrogation, assumption validation, and synthesizing insights into coherent narratives and decision-making tools.
