Role Overview and Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant will handle all accounting and billing functions at the Konsari plant independently. Key duties include managing vendor invoicing, ensuring compliance with Maharashtra GST regulations, overseeing statutory deductions like PF, maintaining financial documentation, and operating within Tally software for records and billing processes.
- Oversee the complete vendor billing lifecycle, including invoice verification and payment processing
- Guarantee adherence to Maharashtra GST laws by timely filing of returns
- Manage monthly PF deductions and statutory employee contributions
- Prepare and handle Work Orders, Delivery Challans, and GST Challans punctually and accurately
- Maintain comprehensive invoicing and billing records within Tally software
- Track and reconcile work orders with actual deliveries to ensure accurate billing
- Keep organized logs and registers documenting all financial operations
- Regularly reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for billing queries and approvals
- Complete all statutory compliances including GST, PF, and TDS within specified deadlines
- Generate periodic financial reports to assist management decision-making
- Maintain documentation ready for statutory and internal audits
Candidate Profile
- 7–10 years of professional experience in accounting, billing, and GST compliance, ideally within manufacturing or fabrication industries
- Proficient user of Tally accounting software
- In-depth understanding of Maharashtra-specific GST rules and regulations
- Experience managing vendor billing, Work Orders, and Delivery Challans
- Knowledge of PF deductions and related statutory compliance
- Excellent record-keeping and process discipline
- B.Com or M.Com degree or equivalent academic qualifications
- Willingness to be stationed onsite at Konsari, Maharashtra
