Work Environment and Facilities

Primary Duties

• Complete all required training satisfactorily as specified for the site.
• Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with the published Assignment Instructions.
• Regularly review and suggest improvements to Assignment Instructions to enhance service quality.
• Identify and immediately report any health and safety risks.
• Stay vigilant to any threats or changes in the environment to mitigate risks of disruption, loss, or damage.
• Exercise sound judgment and escalate situations when a threat emerges.
• Document incidents promptly and accurately for reporting purposes.
• Maintain professional appearance by correctly wearing and caring for the uniform, and uphold high personal grooming standards.
• Exhibit courteous and helpful behavior towards colleagues, clients, and the public to maintain a professional image.
• Function as the first point of contact on security matters for employees, contractors, and visitors with a strong customer service focus.
• Prepare and review daily activity reports and incident reports, escalating them to management as appropriate.
• Monitor physical security systems including access control, alarm monitoring, and video surveillance.
• Coordinate and dispatch responses to security incidents using various communication tools.
• Ensure continuous 24/7 monitoring of client facilities with appropriate incident response.
• Receive and manage information flows from security personnel and escalate critical events.
• Deliver clear, timely, and customer-oriented verbal and written communication.
• Safeguard all client property and assets.

Qualification Requirements

• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail are essential.
• Proficient computer skills required.
• Previous security experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are necessary.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Holder of a PSA Licence.
• Knowledge of Manual Handling techniques.
• Possession of own transport is desirable.
