Role Overview

The Security Officer role is a full-time, on-location position based in Odisha, India. Responsibilities include overseeing and safeguarding the premises, managing entry points to ensure only authorized personnel gain access, and conducting regular patrols of assigned zones. The officer monitors security surveillance, responds promptly to alarms or incidents, documents suspicious activities and hazards, and supports emergency response measures. Collaboration with supervisory staff and local law enforcement authorities is expected when necessary. Following organizational policies, security regulations, and maintaining a professional demeanor for staff and visitors are essential duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in security-related duties such as patrolling, access management, and documenting incidents.
• Strong observational skills, situational awareness, and basic capabilities in risk assessment.
• Ability to adhere to established standard operating procedures and compliance with safety and security standards.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with employees, visitors, and authorities as appropriate.
• Physical stamina suitable for prolonged standing, patrolling tasks, and emergency response.
• Competence in basic record documentation and reporting of daily security activities and incidents.
• Prior security experience in industrial, corporate, or facility environments within India is an asset.
• Readiness to work various shifts including weekends and holidays according to operational requirements.
• Relevant training or certification in security practices is preferred.
