Security Guard Job Description
The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining comprehensive safety and surveillance throughout the office premises. This role encompasses responding effectively and promptly to emergency scenarios, ensuring the safety and monitoring of all visitors by recording their entries accurately.
Key duties include the reception and management of office parcels, couriers, and documents, ensuring they are promptly delivered to the respective departments. The guard is also charged with protecting office personnel and upholding overall discipline and a secure environment within the office grounds.
Routine monitoring of entry and exit gates is essential to ensure controlled access. Any suspicious behavior or activities must be immediately reported to management. Furthermore, the security person must ensure strict compliance with fire safety protocols and other established security guidelines.
