SAP MM Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to join our team in Bengaluru East, Karnataka. This role involves comprehensive expertise in SAP MM to lead implementations, design solutions, and interface effectively between business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to troubleshoot issues and develop innovative SAP MM solutions.
• Contribute to proposal documentation and participate in solution design activities.
• Configure SAP MM modules according to design specifications and conduct conference room pilots (CRPs).
• Lead workshops, demonstrations, and Proof of Technology sessions while estimating efforts aligned with budgets.
• Manage small project teams and drive organizational initiatives to deliver valuable solutions.
• Effectively interface with clients and coordinate project and team activities for successful delivery.

Technical Expertise

• In-depth knowledge of SAP MM including configuration of organizational structure, master data, purchasing processes, pricing, account determination, release strategies, and forms.
• Expertise in inventory management, logistic invoice verification, and physical inventory.
• Design and implementation of specialized procurement scenarios such as subcontracting, stock transport orders, and consignment processes.
• Strong understanding of integration with SAP SD and FI modules.
• Experience designing interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems.

• Strong client engagement and team leadership qualities, including mentoring and ensuring delivery maturity.
• Experience with audit, SOX compliance, effort estimation for releases and transformations, and automation ROI cases such as AI chatbot and audit automation.
• Proficiency in internal enterprise procurement and working within compliance-intensive settings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Functional experience with SAP MM, ARIBA, SCM, and Workflow modules.
• Exposure to S4 HANA Upgrade projects including both Greenfield and Brownfield implementations.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience managing teams of 5-7 members.
