Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Developer to lead and manage SAP projects primarily utilizing SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Core Data Services (CDS), ABAP, and SAPUI5/Fiori technologies. This managerial role involves decision-making authority over SAP development initiatives, resource planning, team oversight, and driving process enhancements to deliver optimal business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic decisions related to SAP application development and continuous improvement.
• Efficiently allocate and manage resources to ensure timely deliverables that meet quality standards.
• Oversee team management activities including assignment distribution and evaluation.
• Provide the team with necessary tools and support to meet organizational goals.
• Promote collaboration and optimize workflows within the team environment.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 7 to 11 years of professional experience working hands-on with SAP technologies.
• Proficient in ABAP programming, object-oriented ABAP, and implementing Business Add-Ins (BAdI).
• Experience with SAP Gateway and HANA Cloud Connector.
• Strong skills in data provisioning and testing OData services.
• Familiar with SAP Workflow management and SAP Basis and Authorization concepts.
• Expertise in developing SAPUI5 and Fiori elements based applications along with front-end extensions.
• Skilled in Core Data Services (CDS) creation and utilization.
• Knowledge of designing and consuming RESTful services on SAP BTP.
• Experience extending standard Fiori applications and a foundational understanding of SAP BTP services.
• Preferably experienced with S/4 key user extensions and Side-by-Side extensions using SAP BTP.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/BTech), MCA, or an equivalent qualification.
• Excellent analytical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills capable of engaging with stakeholders at various levels.
• Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
• SAP certifications such as SAP Certified Development Associate are an advantage though not mandatory.
