Role Overview

The Sales Development Representative (inbound) is key in accelerating qualified lead generation and sales opportunities within the ANZ market, working alongside the sales team and guided by a Sales Development Manager. This position offers a starting base salary of $72,000 with on-target earnings (OTE) reaching $128,640, with no cap on performance bonuses (140%+ achievable). Candidates must be based in Australia.

Primary Responsibilities

• Evaluate and qualify incoming leads promptly to identify suitable prospects and secure quality meetings for sales executives.
• Meet monthly activity goals by producing a consistent flow of qualified opportunities contributing to company growth.
• Respond swiftly to leads to maximize conversion rates.
• Ensure CRM entries related to lead engagement are accurate and maintained for reliable sales forecasting.
• Initiate contact with potential clients via inbound inquiries to uncover new sales prospects.
• Conduct discovery calls to ascertain client needs effectively.
• Refer promising cases to Account Executives for progression and closure.
• Perform thorough account research to identify key decision-makers and cultivate interest in Employment Hero’s solutions.
• Maintain and expand the prospect database within assigned segments.
• Support online demos when required to demonstrate product value to prospective customers.

Candidate Profile

• Proven track record in handling high-volume inbound B2B sales processes.
• Experience with sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, ZoomInfo, and Outreach.
• Consistently surpassing sales targets.
• Exceptional phone communication skills and resilience to engage extensively over calls.
• Strong verbal and written communication competencies with active listening and presentation skills.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and handle time efficiently.
