The role is suited to someone who wants to build a career in luxury retail, create lasting relationships with clients, and confidently represent a premium brand.
What the role involves
You will be part of a team focused on delivering outstanding client service and making every showroom visit memorable. The position combines personal sales, team contribution, and ongoing product development. You will be expected to work toward individual and team targets while deepening your jewellery and watch knowledge, then using that expertise to guide clients to the right solution for their needs.
About the company
Goldsmiths has more than 230 years of heritage and is one of the UK’s best-known watch and jewellery retailers, with over 55 showrooms across the country. The business has a long history in luxury retail, including being the jeweller behind the Rugby League Trophy and the UK’s first appointed Rolex stockist in 1919. Its range includes diamond jewellery, wedding and engagement rings, and major watch brands such as Rolex, Omega and TAG Heuer.
Goldsmiths is part of Watches of Switzerland Group, a FTSE-250 retail business with nearly 3,000 employees across the UK, Europe and the United States. The wider group operates more than 190 showrooms across the UK, US and Europe, including 77 dedicated mono-brand boutiques in partnership with brands such as Rolex, OMEGA, TAG Heuer and Breitling, as well as seven e-commerce websites. The group’s success is built on long-term brand partnerships, modern retail technology, strong marketing, and highly trained people who deliver exceptional service in inclusive teams.
Working style
The role requires a flexible, service-led approach and a willingness to support the team wherever needed. You should be comfortable speaking with clients, understanding their needs, and going beyond a single transaction to deliver a high-quality luxury retail experience.
