About the Role

The Customer Analytics Associate (CAA) is an integral part of Unilever's Customer Development team, positioned between analytics, customer strategy, category management, and sales operations. This role focuses on converting data into strategic recommendations that drive customer decisions, uncover growth opportunities, and enhance performance across major Canadian retailers.

You'll collaborate closely with Customer Business Development, Customer Strategy & Planning, Finance, Category Management, and Brand teams to influence outcomes through data-driven insights and compelling storytelling. The position involves analyzing customer, category, promotional, financial, and market data to identify opportunities, tackle business challenges, and support strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel functions such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.
  • Experience with and curiosity about AI tool applications.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, data visualization, or reporting tools is a plus.
  • Experience working with syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, Circana, shopper insights) is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively in a fast-moving environment.

Compensation and Benefits
