About the Role
Winsome Group is committed to ensuring a safe working environment as we advance with premium residential and township developments. We are seeking a skilled Safety Specialist in Patna, Bihar, with 7 to 8 years of experience in construction safety to cultivate a culture focused on safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies across construction operations.
- Carry out regular safety audits, inspections, and risk evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to legal safety mandates and internal safety criteria.
- Manage safety protocols for contractors and subcontractors on site.
- Supervise safety during high-risk tasks such as excavation, lifts, scaffolding, working at heights, electrical installations, and confined space entries.
- Organize safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for the site workforce.
- Investigate any incidents, ascertain underlying causes, and enforce corrective and preventive measures.
- Maintain comprehensive safety documentation, including permits, reports, and monthly HSE management information systems.
- Collaborate with project teams to achieve projects executed without incidents.
- Promote ongoing enhancements in workplace safety culture.
Candidate Profile
- Degree or diploma in Engineering or related fields.
- 7 to 8 years of hands-on experience in construction safety, preferably in residential or township projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Proficient in managing contractor safety and conducting site safety audits.
- Understanding of emergency response, fire safety protocols, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Relevant certifications such as Industrial Safety, NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are advantageous.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and record-keeping abilities.
