Safety Officer

Job Overview

Innovations Global seeks a dedicated Safety Officer on a project-based contract to enhance health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards within project sites in Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on strict adherence to safety regulations and fostering a culture of safety throughout the project duration.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with HSE policies and statutory requirements at project locations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and perform risk assessments.
• Ensure proper implementation of Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Method Statements.
• Oversee operations involving high-risk activities such as working at heights, lifting, hot work, electrical procedures, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and confined space entry.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox meetings, and awareness training sessions.
• Investigate any incidents thoroughly and enforce corrective measures.
• Confirm consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and assist emergency responses as needed.
• Compile and maintain detailed HSE reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams, external contractors, and client HSE representatives to ensure safe operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Certification: Mandatory NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC); IOSH qualification preferred.
• At least 5 years experience in HSE roles within construction, infrastructure, industrial, or electromechanical project environments.
• Experience with elevator and escalator projects is an advantageous asset.
• Expertise in PTW, Risk Assessment, JSA, Incident Investigation, LOTO, Working at Height protocols, Confined Space safety, Electrical Safety, HSE Audits, and Emergency Response procedures.
• Proficiency in English communication is required; knowledge of Arabic language is a plus.
• A valid Saudi driving license, Saudi Iqama, and possession of an Ajeer contract are compulsory.
• Candidates available for immediate joining will be favored.

• Employment Type: Outsourced contract, project-based with potential extension.

• Salary: 5000 SAR per month.
