The platform facilitates payment routing, transaction handling, reconciliation, reporting, fraud detection, and integrates with various payment providers.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Rust Developer to join our team and contribute to building and scaling the core backend infrastructure that powers our platform. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining performant backend services and APIs that are secure, scalable, and reliable, supporting critical payment and transaction processes.

You are passionate, proactive, and take responsibility for delivering high-quality software. You tackle complex problems thoughtfully, write clean and efficient code, and are dedicated to developing dependable software solutions in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services primarily using Rust.
• Create and support scalable APIs and microservices architectures.
• Integrate with payment providers and external third-party systems.
• Improve system performance, enhance reliability, and ensure security.
• Engage in architectural and technical design discussions.
• Diagnose and fix issues in production environments.
• Produce clean, maintainable code with thorough documentation.
• Collaborate with product, quality assurance, and DevOps teams through the development cycle.
• Review code contributions and promote best engineering practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficient in building applications with Rust programming language.
• Strong knowledge of backend system design and API development.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Background in creating scalable, distributed system architectures.
• Excellent debugging capabilities and problem-solving aptitude.
• Familiarity with Git version control and modern development workflows.

Preferred Experience

• Prior exposure to payment processing, fintech, or financial service environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructures and container technologies.
• Knowledge of message queues, event-driven designs, and microservice patterns.
• Experience using PostgreSQL, Redis, or equivalent technologies.
• Understanding of security protocol adherence and system performance optimization practices.
