Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on test technician to support daily operations and regression testing of our humanoid robots. This position requires running structured robot test scenarios, executing automated testing scripts, and logging results to aid continuous software and hardware improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out robot test workflows daily using established protocols.
• Execute and supervise Python-based automated test scripts, requiring intermediate proficiency.
• Configure and maintain test network infrastructures, including Ethernet, switches, and IP settings.
• Operate within a Linux platform, utilizing bash shell commands and scripting.
• Record issues and test results accurately using Jira issue tracking tool.
• Adhere strictly to detailed written procedures and verbal instructions.
• Provide general assistance with laboratory and test-related activities as needed.
• Aim to maintain over 4 hours of daily test cell operations covering routine and edge cases to identify potential failures.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of an Associate's degree or relevant certifications in network administration, system administration, or industrial automation and control.
• Basic knowledge and experience with Ethernet networks and general network concepts.
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment and proficient in bash shell usage.
• Familiar with using Jira or equivalent tools for issue tracking.
• Detail-oriented with a capacity to follow evolving testing procedures meticulously.
• Willingness to undertake additional duties as assigned by management.

Work Location

This is a full-time, onsite role based in the Fremont, California office.

Compensation and Benefits

• Estimated base salary ranges from $102,000 to $133,000 annually, dependent on skills, knowledge, and experience.
