We are seeking a Risk & Compliance Analyst to join our Personal Banking team. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, involving relationship building, problem solving, and collaboration across the business to drive positive risk and compliance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform various risk and compliance tasks such as risk assessments, control evaluations, remediation efforts, reporting, and self-assessments.
  • Assist in governance and reporting duties, including preparation of reports for the Personal Banking Risk & Compliance Committees.
  • Monitor risks, incidents, issues, and related action plans throughout the business.
  • Support initiatives aimed at enhancing risk culture and increasing risk maturity across the division.
  • Offer guidance and support to stakeholders regarding risk and compliance standards.
  • Contribute to building risk capabilities through training sessions, communications, and awareness campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with teams across Personal Banking to back business goals and improve risk management results.

Skills and Qualifications Needed

  • Relevant experience in financial services, banking, risk management, compliance, governance, or similar fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail paired with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to juggle competing priorities while maintaining quality outputs.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for clear presentation of information.
  • Confidence in building relationships and working with diverse stakeholders.
  • A curious and eager mindset ready to learn new risk and compliance areas.
  • Ability to collaborate well yet independently take responsibility for assigned tasks.

Applicants with prior experience in banking, frontline financial services, risk, or compliance are highly suited for this position.
