Retail Store Supervisor

Position Overview

We are looking for a proficient Retail Store Supervisor to oversee operations, spearhead sales efforts, and lead dynamic sales teams at various store locations throughout Germany. This role requires a hands-on, on-site presence to effectively manage retail environments and customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily retail store functions to ensure efficient operation
• Guide, motivate, and train the retail sales team for maximum performance
• Drive sales performance to meet monthly and annual objectives
• Provide outstanding customer service and handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly
• Oversee inventory levels, merchandising displays, pricing accuracy, and store presentation
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and uphold the store's brand image
• Handle cash management, operate point-of-sale systems, and prepare administrative reports
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement strategies to enhance store results
• Assist in recruiting, onboarding new staff, and managing employee schedules
• Ensure adherence to company policies, health and safety regulations, and retail procedures

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated experience in retail sales or store management roles
• Strong leadership capabilities and effective team management skills
• Understanding of retail performance metrics, sales goals, and customer service benchmarks
• Familiarity with POS systems, inventory control, and sales reporting tools
• Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving aptitude
• Proactive attitude with ability to thrive in fast-paced retail settings
• Fluency in German is essential; English language skills are advantageous
• Willingness to work on-site including weekends and during peak shopping periods
