About the Role
The Retail Associate plays a vital role in helping to achieve the store’s sales and profitability goals by passionately fostering customer loyalty to the brand, providing outstanding service, and ensuring smooth store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Stay informed of store sales, KPI, and individual performance goals, taking ownership and utilizing store resources to meet or surpass these targets.
- Deliver the Brand Customer Service standards to fulfill or exceed customer expectations consistently.
- Act as a brand representative, embodying the company’s values and attitude at all times.
- Leverage seasonal brand and product knowledge effectively during customer interactions.
- Clearly communicate product features, benefits, and unique selling points to address customer needs and deepen brand connection.
- Follow all company policies and procedures strictly.
- Implement and uphold the Visual Merchandising and In-Store Communication guidelines.
- Efficiently manage merchandise deliveries and continuously replenish displays to ensure full product availability on the sales floor.
- Conduct cash register transactions accurately and swiftly.
- Minimize stock loss both in the stockroom and on the sales floor.
- Carry out all store operations with safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in mind.
- Collaborate respectfully and productively with teammates.
- Complete all relevant training sessions and apply the learnings on the job.
- Proactively seek coaching and learning to enhance performance continuously.
Qualifications and Experience
- Completion of high school is mandatory.
- Preferably at least six months of experience working in a customer and commercially focused retail environment related to sports or fashion.
- Basic skills in numeracy, literacy, and effective verbal communication.
