Job description
Overview
The Merchandising Crew at Kent Building Supplies plays a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by standardizing and improving our product presentation. This position involves executing merchandising reset tasks and supporting promotional merchandising initiatives, guided by detailed product planograms and merchandising documents. The starting wage offered is $17.25 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement merchandising resets as designated by the Planogram Team.
- Assist in launching merchandising projects for end caps, dump bins, and various promotional areas.
- Manage merchandising efforts in seasonal sections.
- Carry out merchandising plans linked to special promotions and advertising campaigns.
- Maintain display functionality, ensuring bay sets remain clean, correctly priced, stocked, front-faced, and detailed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience and passion for merchandising.
- Strong organizational capabilities with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in software applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to cooperate effectively with different teams within the organization.
- Familiarity with basic tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.
- Task-oriented with the ability to prioritize and achieve results.
