Role Overview

The Relationship Associate supports Relationship Managers by simplifying banking processes for customers and delivering valuable solutions and insights. This key position contributes to risk management, credit assessment, and building strong customer relationships, ideal for individuals aiming to progress to Relationship Manager roles. This is a permanent position based in New Plymouth working standard hours from Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers attentively to understand their business needs and service expectations.
• Collaborate with Relationship and Senior Managers along with product partners to develop and implement customer-centric solutions.
• Assist with financial data analysis and interpretation to support precise credit decision-making.
• Contribute to customer base growth by cultivating strong relationships and providing effective solutions.
• Provide insights that empower customer success.
• Build networks and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across various sectors.

Requirements

• Proven experience in building strong customer relationships in service delivery roles.
• Analytical skills to evaluate and interpret financial trends.
• Tertiary qualification in finance or relevant financial/lending experience.
• Understanding of security arrangement structuring.
• Experience in banking or finance industry preferred.
