About the Company
Baazeem Trading Company is looking to appoint a seasoned Regional Sales Manager to spearhead and expand its sales operations throughout the designated region, specifically in Saudi Arabia.
About the Role
The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities nationwide in Saudi Arabia, driving revenue growth and profitability while cultivating a motivated, high-achieving sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and enhance the regional sales team to meet and surpass sales and profitability targets.
- Formulate and implement regional sales strategies consistent with the company's goals.
- Accelerate sales development across multiple channels including Retail, Wholesale, Discount, and Modern Trade.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and major accounts.
- Explore new business avenues to widen market reach within the region.
- Track sales performance, KPIs, and marketplace trends, adjusting tactics as needed.
- Collaborate with departments such as Category, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure smooth operations.
- Carry out frequent field visits to support sales staff, assess execution, and deepen customer engagement.
- Accurately forecast sales, prepare budgets, and compile performance reports.
- Keep tabs on competitors' pricing, promotions, and market trends to uncover new growth potentials.
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies and sales standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in FMCG sales with a minimum of 3 years in a Regional Sales Manager or equivalent leadership capacity.
- Demonstrable expertise in managing sales teams across Retail, Wholesale, Discount, and Modern Trade channels.
- Intimate knowledge of the Saudi FMCG marketplace and its distribution frameworks.
- Proven track record of developing and deploying effective sales strategies.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building capabilities.
- Strong skills in negotiation, analysis, and problem resolution.
- Proficient communication and presentation skills in English; Arabic language skills are beneficial.
- Fluency with Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
- Possession of a valid Saudi driving license and readiness for frequent travel within the region.
