Role Overview

SRM University AP is looking for a Regional Placement Manager to work from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. The role focuses on building strong employer networks, expanding placement opportunities, and supporting student career outcomes in the region.

What You Will Do

• Build and sustain relationships with employers, industry contacts, and alumni to open up job opportunities for students.
• Focus on attracting marquee, super dream, core, dream, and regular IT employers with established market presence.
• Create outreach plans that encourage these companies to recruit from the institution by highlighting the student talent pool.
• Arrange meetings and presentations with company representatives to present student capabilities and placement value.
• Work closely with faculty members and alumni to tap into networks and referrals for recruitment from major IT employers.
• Plan and coordinate employer visits, guest sessions, and industry-focused events that help students build professional connections.
• Support the execution of job fairs, campus hiring drives, and internship initiatives that connect students with recruiters.
• Track market movements, hiring trends, and emerging career opportunities to share relevant insights with students.
• Gather input from employers and students and use it to improve the placement process over time.
• Be prepared for the responsibilities in this offer to evolve as business needs change, and take on additional tasks when required.
