Role Overview
We seek a Recruiting Coordinator to join our Starbase team in Texas. This role primarily focuses on organizing and scheduling phone and onsite interviews while ensuring candidates enjoy a seamless and positive experience throughout their interview day. Supporting the recruiting team by managing logistics, greeting candidates, assisting with administrative duties, and potentially engaging in recruiting events or sourcing efforts is part of the responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange scheduling for onsite candidate interviews.
- Coordinate travel plans for candidates as necessary.
- Oversee the logistics related to onsite interview days.
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of the business to effectively communicate program details to candidates and client teams.
- Ensure candidates have a welcoming and positive interview experience at SpaceX.
- Support recruiting team members by completing special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- Previous professional experience in recruiting, human resources, marketing, sales, or technology sectors is required.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- At least one year of experience as a recruiting coordinator.
- Familiarity with Greenhouse or comparable applicant tracking systems.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Outlook and MS Office tools.
- Basic understanding of personnel policies and employment laws at federal and state levels.
- Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, adapt to evolving priorities, and remain flexible.
- Team-oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
- Self-motivated, detail-conscious problem solver passionate about contributing to team success.
- Skilled in managing confidential and sensitive information discreetly and diplomatically.
- Effective communicator across all organizational levels, including senior management, both individually and in groups.
- Willingness and capacity to learn and speak knowledgeably about the space industry and company business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
Additional Requirements
- Availability to work overtime when required.
- Attendance is compulsory onsite at Starbase, Texas; remote work is not available for this position.
