Overview

FST Technical Services, a nationally recognized leader in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Inspection, Testing, and Commissioning for advanced semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, and data center projects, is seeking a skilled Recruiter. This role is fully remote within the U.S. and offers a salary range of $80,000 to $85,000 along with comprehensive benefits.

Role Purpose

The Recruiter will be responsible for managing all phases of the recruitment process for technical and engineering roles. This position plays a key role in identifying and attracting top technical talent, developing partnerships with hiring managers, and ensuring a smooth hiring and onboarding experience for candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end recruitment for engineering and technical positions.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to clarify requirements and design recruiting strategies.
• Source candidates actively and passively via professional networks, job boards, and referrals.
• Conduct candidate screening and interviews assessing technical skills and cultural alignment.
• Present suitable candidates to hiring managers and coordinate interviews.
• Facilitate offer preparation, extension, and negotiation support.
• Manage background checks, employment verifications, and onboarding processes.
• Maintain accurate records within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Build talent pools for current and future hiring needs.
• Track recruiting metrics and progress of open requisitions.
• Continuously seek improvements in recruitment processes and candidate experience.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in full-cycle recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Proven experience recruiting for technical, engineering, construction, industrial, manufacturing, or skilled trades roles.
• Strong skills in sourcing candidates through platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and other channels.
• Ability to manage multiple job openings concurrently.
• Excellent interviewing techniques, communication, and relationship development skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Self-driven with ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recruiting experience for commissioning engineers, QA/QC specialists, inspectors, field engineers, project managers, or related technical roles.
• Background recruiting for data center, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, manufacturing, or industrial construction projects.
• Knowledge of background screening, onboarding, and pre-employment procedures.
• Experience recruiting for project-based or travel-oriented positions.
