Role Summary

The Recreation Manager will oversee all aspects of recreation and wellness services within the hotel, including management of swimming pools, fitness centers, guest activities, and recreational programs. This leadership role emphasizes operational excellence, guest satisfaction, safety compliance, financial oversight, and team development, all while upholding the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of recreational areas such as pools and fitness facilities ensuring top-tier maintenance, safety, and presentation.
• Create, implement, and enforce operational procedures, policies, and service standards that reflect the brand’s luxury positioning.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and feedback to deliver exceptional experiences.
• Collaborate closely with Spa, Rooms, Food & Beverage, and other departments to broaden wellness and guest engagement initiatives.
• Lead recruitment, training, and ongoing development of recreation team members to achieve high service quality.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance while maximizing revenue and controlling expenses.
• Monitor operational metrics to identify areas for efficiency improvements and enhanced guest satisfaction.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, emergency protocols, and relevant regulations.
• Innovate and introduce engaging recreation, fitness, and wellness programs aligned with the hotel's luxury brand identity.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Leisure Management, Sports & Recreation, or related discipline.
• Three to five years of leadership experience in recreation, wellness, fitness, or luxury hotel environments.
• Excellent leadership capabilities along with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proven experience in budgeting, financial planning, and operational oversight.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other languages is advantageous.
• Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding are preferred.
