Job description
About the Role
A well-established civil engineering contractor located in County Kerry is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team on a permanent basis. This role involves managing commercial aspects of various construction projects without requiring travel outside Kerry.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily commercial measurements and generate detailed reports for assigned projects.
- Negotiate subcontract agreements to secure the best possible financial terms.
- Support the oversight and control of project budgets to ensure financial efficiency.
- Compile Cost Value Reports and submit monthly variation claims.
- Handle management of Final Accounts for projects.
Candidate Requirements
- Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or a comparable qualification.
- Possess between 2 to 5 years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within civil contracting.
- Have a strong understanding of different contract types relevant to civil projects.
- Display excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
Additional Information
The salary for this position ranges from €45,000 to €65,000 annually, depending on experience, and includes a company vehicle. The job location is strictly in County Kerry with no travel obligations.
