About the Role
Aureos Capital, a growing company that values its staff, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a major highways project based in Liverpool. Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you will provide crucial support to the commercial and contract delivery teams. The role focuses on ensuring profitability, cash flow management, cost control, and precise reporting across various schemes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee application and credit control processes to optimise revenue.
- Manage costing and forecasting procedures accurately.
- Control change management systems and input into project risk assessment.
- Administer Contract Time Charges (CTC) and Contract Variation Reports (CVRs).
- Handle the entire subcontractor cycle and offer commercial guidance to the project team.
- Foster team spirit and trust within the commercial and client teams, including dispute resolution.
- Maintain smooth communication within the project’s commercial and delivery teams.
- Contribute to tender processes and manage training initiatives, including mentoring an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
- Travel commitments involve overnight stays 1–2 nights per week and visits to multiple renewables projects across the UK.
Candidate Profile
- Experienced in quantity surveying within contracting commercial departments.
- Degree holder or equivalent HND/HNC qualification.
- Currently pursuing professional qualifications.
- Practical understanding of construction industry contract conditions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
- Skilled in training and coaching personnel.

Additional Information
