About The Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to deliver commercial oversight and support for complex infrastructure projects. The role involves responsibilities such as estimating costs, managing contracts, evaluating tenders, and ensuring effective cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile Bills of Quantities and produce accurate cost estimations.
• Assess contractor claims and process payment applications diligently.
• Oversee contract administration throughout all phases of the project.
• Track and analyze project expenditures and overall financial health.
• Develop tender documents and conduct commercial evaluations.
• Assist in contract negotiations and the settlement of final accounts.
• Offer expert commercial guidance to the project management teams.

Requirements

• Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in infrastructure or utility sector projects.
• In-depth understanding of FIDIC contract frameworks.
• Proven expertise in preparing Bills of Quantities, tender documentation, and final account settlements.
• Strong commercial acumen coupled with effective negotiation capabilities.
• Preferably a member of a professional body such as RICS or an equivalent organization.
