Quantity Surveyor

Overview

Indymand, a leading real estate company, is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team based in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for managing high-quality construction and real estate projects, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to budgets throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cost planning and estimation for construction projects.
• Manage contract administration and oversee procurement and tendering activities.
• Control construction costs through diligent budgeting and cost monitoring.
• Liaise effectively with project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely project delivery.
• Utilize strong analytical and negotiation skills to optimize project outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a relevant academic qualification in Quantity Surveying or a closely related field.
• Bring a minimum of seven years’ practical experience in quantity surveying within construction projects.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of construction cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control methods.
• Experienced in contract management, procurement procedures, and handling tender processes.
• Exhibit excellent communication abilities and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
