Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Carry out laboratory testing following established Standard Operating Procedures, Deviations, Change Control protocols, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Ensure all work order documentation is thoroughly completed, and results are accurately entered into the Laboratory Information System or Client Certificates before review by QA personnel.
• Plan, prioritize, and schedule daily testing activities to maintain workflow efficiency and meet deadlines.
• Immediately inform the Department Manager upon the occurrence of test failures and assist with related investigations; preserve all test materials involved in the failure.
• Notify management in advance if assigned work cannot be completed on time or within quality standards.
• Perform additional laboratory tasks as assigned and keep management updated on progress.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, perform required calibrations and qualifications, verify preparation of solutions and mobile phases.
• Accurately record all findings and keep laboratory notebooks and records well organized.
• Conduct routine calibration and preventive maintenance on instruments such as HPLC, GC, Dissolution apparatus, thermometers, and ovens to ensure reliable testing outcomes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or a related discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, demonstrating capability to handle complex tasks.
• Practical experience with laboratory instruments including HPLC, Gas Chromatography, Dissolution testers, thermometers, and ovens.
• Good hand-eye coordination and innovative thinking abilities.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed work instructions safely and accurately within time constraints.
• Proficient in standard computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced professional environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Effectiveness working independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Capability to perform reliably under pressure.
• Willingness to work extended hours and shifts when needed.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an hourly wage between $27 and $28.

• Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage at 80%.
