About the Role
Our client, a cutting-edge AI-driven software company based in Rosenheim, Bavaria, seeks a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer. This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and managing automated test cases using AI-powered testing agents to minimize manual quality assurance tasks. The candidate will collaborate closely with Developers and Product Owners to ensure clarity and alignment of the overall QA strategy.
Key Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for leveraging automated test frameworks and orchestrating test platforms integrated with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps. They will utilize modern testing tools including Playwright, Selenium, xUnit, and Cypress to create comprehensive test coverage. Developing strategies for performance and load testing of cloud-native SaaS products will be essential. Additionally, enhancing test suite stability, addressing test flakiness, optimizing test execution times, and incorporating API and security testing are critical aspects of this position.
Required Qualifications and Skills
We expect the candidate to have significant hands-on experience implementing automated testing frameworks and familiarity with test orchestration and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with AI-powered testing tools and methodologies is highly valued. They should be capable of measuring test coverage metrics, reducing instability in test suites, and improving test performance. Knowledge of API testing and security testing methods will be a distinct advantage. Applicants must be based in Germany with the legal right to work there, regardless of the hybrid remote working setup.
