About the Role
Innova Solutions is collaborating with a client to fill the role of a Quality Assurance Analyst based in Charlotte, NC. This position is a full-time contract opportunity lasting over three months with an onsite requirement. The role focuses on ensuring product quality through manual and automated testing within the commercial banking domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain manual and automated test scripts to assure software quality.
- Transform existing manual test cases into automated test solutions for efficient testing processes.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), oversee defect tracking, and confirm alignment with business requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive test cases, documentation, and detailed test reports.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across business, quality assurance, and development teams to facilitate smooth quality processes.
- Support comprehensive testing activities that span the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Qualifications and Experience
- Prior experience in quality assurance and software testing roles.
- Expertise in UAT specifically within the commercial banking sector.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools, preferably Tricentis Tosca, ALM Octane, and Jira.
- In-depth understanding of quality assurance methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and test execution strategies.
- Certifications including Tosca, AS1, and AS2 are required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in testing ATM-related applications.
- Exposure to banking modernization or transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range for this role is $43 to $47, determined by factors such as education, experience, job specifics, and certifications.
