QA/SDET Lead

About the Role

Join TTEC Digital as a QA/SDET Lead in a position that is both fully remote and full-time. We are a forward-thinking team residing at the intersection of startup energy and enterprise backing, dedicated to building advanced AI tools for customer experience (CX), such as automated QA systems, conversational analytics, and AI-powered automation for major global brands.

What You'll Do

• Take charge of automated quality engineering for a rapidly evolving platform encompassing AI, desktop, and voice technologies.
• Lead quality assurance with a focus exclusively on automation; manual QA is not part of our practice.
• Manage weekly code deployments with swift and efficient regression testing as a core activity.
• Drive short, one-week sprints in an agile, fast-fail environment where progress is rapid and data-driven.
• Shape quality strategy, oversee test automation frameworks, and lay the groundwork for future QA hires.
• Implement automation patterns that will set standards across the QA function and uplift the technical caliber of the entire engineering team.
• Deliver rapid, reliable quality signals and coverage—ensuring issues are detected and resolved within minutes, not days.
• Oversee robust load and stress testing to guarantee compliance with service latency requirements.

Key Qualifications

• At least 8 years of hands-on QA/SDET experience, including the creation of test automation foundations for fast-moving products.
• Exceptional ability to isolate issues and pinpoint root causes; your bug reports significantly ease developer debugging efforts.
• Skilled in managing regression test suites for high-speed deployments, and adept at troubleshooting in high-load, low-latency environments.
• Demonstrated expertise with event-driven architectures, WebSocket processes, and browser extension testing for real-time state and race conditions.
• Proficient with trunk-based CI/CD pipelines, contract/API testing, and synthetic data generation for simulating real-time scenarios.
• Experience evaluating AI/ML outputs using assertion-based methods is highly desired.

• Serve as a player-coach, combining direct technical contributions with leadership of the quality engineering function.
• Mentor and guide QA engineers, establishing automation best practices by example.
• Own automation coverage and ensure high-velocity quality assurance as company-wide standards evolve.
