QA/QC Manager - Fit-Out Project

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned QA/QC Manager to oversee all quality assurance and control operations within a significant fit-out project. This role demands the execution of the Project Quality Plan with strict adherence to the project specifications, client directives, relevant codes, standards, and ISO 9001 guidelines throughout the project duration.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the application of the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and meet all targeted quality objectives.
• Supervise QA/QC engineers and inspectors, offering technical advice and leadership support.
• Assess and sanction Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, material submissions, and other quality-related documentation.
• Arrange and facilitate inspections involving clients, consultants, subcontractors, and independent agencies.
• Track quality indicators including NCRs, corrective measures, and inspection approval statistics.
• Ensure strict compliance with project technical specifications, standards, and contractual quality stipulations.
• Manage quality control processes across all fit-out tasks such as architectural finishes, joinery, ceilings, flooring, painting, glazing, MEP integration, and project completion handover.
• Compile and deliver quality documentation reports including KPIs, audits, and final handover packages.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, or Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• At least 15 years of experience in QA/QC, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial position on fit-out or interior finishing projects.
• In-depth understanding of ISO 9001 standards, quality management systems, Inspection & Test Plans, inspection routines, and handling Non-Conformance Reports.
• Experience collaborating with consultants, clients, and cross-functional project teams.
• Exceptional leadership qualities, clear communication abilities, and strong problem-solving aptitude.
• Certificate as a CQI-IRCA ISO 9001 Lead Auditor is an advantage.
