QA Engineer

About the Role

This position is offered on behalf of a partner organisation based in Australia, which manages the recruitment process independently. The role is for a QA Engineer tasked with enhancing software quality across both web and mobile platforms within a rapidly expanding technology company.

The primary focus is to integrate dependable testing procedures throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring that products consistently meet high benchmarks for performance and user experience. Close collaboration with developers, product teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders is essential to pinpoint risks, streamline workflows, and deliver robust software solutions.

This position offers an exciting chance to directly contribute to innovative digital product development in a vibrant, multicultural environment. The QA Engineer will own test strategy, execution, documentation, and continuous quality improvements, working within agile frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct both functional and non-functional tests on web and mobile apps, including integration, regression, and usability assessments.
• Identify, record, track, and communicate defects effectively, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.
• Verify bug resolutions and confirm that new features satisfy business and technical criteria.
• Develop and maintain detailed test cases, suites, checklists, and comprehensive testing documents.
• Analyze requirements and product specifications to design effective test strategies.
• Monitor QA metrics and drive improvements in testing methodologies.
• Work closely with developers, delivery managers, and other stakeholders to uphold quality standards throughout product lifecycle stages.
• Participate in refining QA practices and foster continuous process improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 3 to 4 years' experience in manual quality assurance testing, preferably in sectors such as FinTech, banking, iGaming, or other high-transaction environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in web application testing and solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proven capability to produce and maintain thorough testing documentation.
• Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, processes, and industry best practices.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Familiarity with Python programming, Playwright testing framework, Docker, and Kubernetes is advantageous.
• Strong analytical capabilities combined with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent collaboration skills with both technical and business teams.
• Fluency in Russian and intermediate proficiency in English communication.
