Overview

This opportunity is a 12-month contractual position based in Alexandria, New South Wales, with a hybrid working model combining onsite presence and remote work flexibility. As a Purchasing Officer at Marley Spoon, you will be instrumental in driving efficient purchasing and planning throughout the Protein categories. Collaborating closely with the Sourcing team, you will work to support category strategies and enhance operational processes continually.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire purchasing, planning, and purchase order execution process for assigned categories.
• Convert demand forecasts into precise, timely purchase orders across fulfillment centres.
• Collaborate with Sourcing teams to ensure supplier capabilities and availability are aligned with commercial targets.
• Oversee inventory levels, service quality metrics, and waste reduction initiatives.
• Maintain consistent ordering procedures, establish order rhythms, and foster ongoing process improvements.
• Anticipate potential risks and deploy proactive measures concerning supply and inventory management.
