Position Overview
Corporate Ink is seeking driven and eager account coordinators to join our public relations agency. This entry-level role offers an exceptional chance to grasp the basics of public relations while actively contributing to client projects from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on clients, industries, competitors, trends, and media opportunities.
- Create and maintain targeted media contact lists.
- Monitor news to find timely opportunities for clients to engage in relevant conversations.
- Compose media pitches, social media posts, award submissions, briefing documents, and various other content.
- Pitch stories to media and build relationships with journalists.
- Oversee social media initiatives.
- Track media coverage, campaign activities, and results.
- Participate in team brainstorming sessions, client meetings, and internal training programs.
- Manage account details, deadlines, and deliverables coordination.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing, or related disciplines.
- Relevant internships or prior experience in agency or editorial settings.
- Strong writing, communication, and social media skills.
- Curiosity about artificial intelligence, technology, business, media, and corporate growth.
- Experience utilizing large language models (LLMs) and AI technology.
- Enthusiasm for media relations and crafting compelling narratives.
- Excellent research, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on producing quality work.
- Confidence to ask questions, provide ideas, and accept feedback positively.
- A collaborative, reliable, and optimistic mindset.
- Motivation to grow professionally and become a vital team member.
Work Location and Environment
This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must reside in Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Georgia, or Illinois. Our agency operates virtually but also facilitates in-person collaboration opportunities across Boston, Chicago, New York, and Atlanta.
