Overview
Sodexo is seeking qualified and driven Project Supervisors to become integral members of our Projects Team, operating across various locations in the Pilbara area. Reporting directly to the Project Lead Engineer, the selected candidates will oversee minor project programs from planning through execution, while providing guidance and support to on-site teams and contractors.
These positions offer permanent full-time employment with a Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) schedule on an 8:6 roster, departing from Perth.
Key Duties
- Supervise work crews and contractors, ensuring all personnel are adequately trained and held responsible for their assignments.
- Conduct timely assessments and define scopes for work requests ahead of approval within the work management planning process.
- Engage actively in weekly coordination meetings involving pre-planning, planning, and scheduling to align resources and commitments with the work schedule.
- Guarantee the safe completion of maintenance tasks in accordance with approved schedules.
- Oversee minor and capital project deliveries, including scope development and commercial tendering processes.
- Coordinate the planning and implementation of unplanned works and adjust schedules as required.
- Analyze team performance post-task completion, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective measures to enhance outcomes.
- Manage critical incidents ensuring adherence to escalation protocols.
- Contribute to strategizing work methodologies and ensuring comprehensive process compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Ability to proactively anticipate potential issues and resolve them logically, with a strong commitment to safety standards.
- Accurate maintenance of records on time and materials and responsible reporting on work progress.
- Relevant trade qualification or equivalent work experience in a related industry.
- Mandatory possession of a Working at Heights Licence and Construction White Card.
- Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Training is preferable.
- Previous mining sector experience will be considered highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills fostering team collaboration and task accomplishment.
