Role Summary
The Project Manager I will drive the planning and execution of divisional projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams across research, marketing, quality, regulatory, manufacturing, and operations. This role emphasizes project scheduling, resource coordination, risk management, communication, and documentation to meet timelines and objectives.
Work Model and Location
This is a hybrid position requiring at least three days per week onsite at a Boston Scientific office in the US, Costa Rica, or Ireland. This is a defined-term role expected to conclude by mid-2028. No visa sponsorship or relocation assistance is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage detailed project schedules and track milestones using PM tools.
- Coordinate activities between cross-functional teams to support project delivery.
- Monitor and escalate schedule risks and resource constraints promptly.
- Assist in project planning including timeline and resource allocation.
- Lead project meetings and ensure timely follow-up of action items.
- Consolidate stakeholder inputs for accurate project reporting.
- Track project metrics and ensure deliverables meet objectives.
- Support management of team capacity and multi-project workload.
- Communicate project status and updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with business and quality standards through accurate documentation.
- Perform other duties and support special initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
- At least 3 years in project coordination or management roles.
- Experience managing project schedules, tracking deliverables, and supporting cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks under deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Jira.
- Deep understanding of project management best practices and methodologies.
- Ability to identify risks, resolve issues proactively, and maintain meticulous project records.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry experience in medical devices or other regulated environments.
- Knowledge of product development and commercialization processes.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent training.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and align cross-functional teams towards common goals.

- Competitive compensation ranges from $106,800 to $202,900 annually, with benefits varying by location and individual experience.
