Job Overview and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the complete lifecycle of the Company’s new construction and Addition & Alteration projects. This role involves managing all phases from design development and tendering to execution, completion, and eventual handover to Operations or Leasing. The position entails handling both pre-construction and post-construction activities to ensure projects meet their objectives.

• Lead all aspects of project management for new builds and A&A projects, ensuring smooth progress from design to handover.
• Create and oversee project budgets, conduct tender processes, and deliver regular financial updates to senior management.
• Verify architectural, structural, and mechanical & electrical drawings and works fully comply with the relevant codes, regulations, and by-laws.
• Track and control project timelines, quality standards, and budget compliance throughout the project duration.
• Engage and collaborate with various stakeholders, including company management, landlords, contractors, consultants, and government bodies to guarantee successful project execution.
• Lead and facilitate weekly progress meetings with main contractors and consultants to review performance and resolve emerging issues.
• Present weekly progress reports to Management, highlighting critical developments, risks, and items requiring decisions or approvals.
• Report directly to the Head of Project Department while undertaking additional administrative and ad-hoc responsibilities as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a degree in Building Construction or a related field.
• Have at least five years of relevant experience in project and design management.
• Demonstrate solid knowledge of local building regulations, codes, and authority approval procedures.
• Experience working with property developers is considered a plus.
• Proven history of successfully managing projects from start to finish.
• Exhibit strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Show initiative, be self-motivated, and capable of handling multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Precision-oriented and proactive in managing tasks efficiently.
