Job Overview
The Project Management Intern will lead and assist with projects ranging from low to medium complexity by employing project management principles aligned with organizational strategies. Responsibilities cover the entire project lifecycle from conceptualization through implementation, including developing statements of work, proposals, functional requirements, plans with milestones, budgeting, and execution strategies. The role requires cross-functional collaboration and leadership toward achieving strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish clear goals and objectives within defined project frameworks.
- Gather, comprehend and translate project requirements accurately for execution.
- Identify and monitor project Key Performance Indicators while managing scope, quality, timeline, and budget constraints.
- Conduct risk assessments and establish mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate stakeholder communications and escalate issues as required.
- Forecast budgetary and staffing requirements for ongoing and future needs.
- Oversee project success including cost, schedule, quality, and scope.
- Manage project budgets comprehensively.
- Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Exceed customer expectations and needs.
- Construct cost-effective corrective action plans.
- Use tracking tools to monitor changes and cost impacts for senior management review.
- Provide ongoing feedback regarding project costs.
- Produce timely project forecasts, comparing forward projections to historical trends.
- Drive continuous improvement in operational metrics and align with organizational goals.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans outlining timelines and deliverables.
- Provide regular updates to all project stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Host weekly forums for ideas exchange, issue resolution, and status updates.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project roadmaps and success criteria.
- Maintain confidential handling of sensitive project information.
- Coordinate communication and training as necessary.
- Lead cross-divisional, cross-functional, and diverse teams maximizing performance.
- Coach and mentor project team members, providing constructive feedback.
- Identify and recommend proposals to close gaps and reduce risk.
- Adhere to all applicable safety and security policies.
- Perform any additional assigned responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range is $65,500 to $117,900 annually, with factors such as qualifications, experience, location, and internal equity affecting the rate. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance; paid time off accruing at 3.07 hours during the first year; four weeks parental leave; eleven paid holidays in 2026; 401(k) retirement plan; and an employee stock purchase plan.
