Role Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and highly organized Project Coordinator to enhance our team. This role is ideal for individuals who excel at juggling multiple priorities and supporting projects end-to-end. You will be instrumental in managing materials, documentation, inventory, and shipments to guarantee smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure project materials and hardware from vendors.
- Monitor purchase orders and deliveries to keep projects on schedule.
- Inspect, verify, and systematically arrange incoming inventory.
- Ensure the warehouse remains orderly, clean, and accurately maintained.
- Handle receipt, packing, and coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Organize and dispatch shipments to project locations across British Columbia.
- Replenish and manage office supply stocks as needed.
- Keep detailed records of inventory and stock quantities.
- Update and manage project data, purchase orders, and documentation within the CRM system.
- Provide administrative and documentation support for projects.
- Perform data entry for the Accounts Payable department, including supplier invoices and shipment charges.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Sales, Service, and Accounting teams to facilitate daily operations.
- Undertake additional operational and administrative duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in project coordination, administrative roles, purchasing, or inventory management.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
- Keen attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous.
- Experience within construction, low-voltage, telecommunications, or security fields is beneficial but not mandatory.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly wage between $28 and $35, commensurate with experience.
