About the Role

This position is designed for distinguished writers, journalists, novelists, essayists, editors, and publishing experts who are eager to contribute their literary mastery to cutting-edge AI research and development projects. The role involves leveraging your expertise in storytelling, editorial assessment, and creative writing to enhance and critique AI-produced text in diverse writing forms.

Key Responsibilities

• Critically review, edit, and polish AI-generated manuscripts including articles, essays, novels, short stories, speeches, and other extended creative works.
• Analyze the writings for quality aspects such as originality, narrative structure, tone, voice, clarity, coherence, and depth of theme.
• Offer precise editorial insights and actionable suggestions to refine AI outputs.
• Evaluate narrative components including character arcs, dialogue authenticity, pacing, and consistency in style.
• Utilize professional editorial judgment to uphold high standards across varied literary formats.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to aid the evolution of sophisticated AI text-generation models.
• Maintain rigorous quality control ensuring accuracy and creative excellence in all reviewed content.

Required Expertise

• Minimum of 10 years' professional experience in fields such as creative writing, journalism, novel crafting, essay creation, or related literary professions.
• Diverse and substantial published portfolio comprising books, articles, essays, or other acknowledged literary works.
• Profound command over narrative construction, storytelling techniques, distinct voice, dialogue formulation, character progression, and literary style.
• Advanced skills in editorial practices including proofreading and manuscript critique.
• Outstanding written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to deliver insightful, well-founded editorial evaluations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Contributions in esteemed literary journals, magazines, anthologies, or professional outlets.
• Awards, fellowships, honors, or other notable writing distinctions.
• Experience as a book editor, acquisitions editor, developmental editor, literary agent, manuscript assessor, literary scout, documentary writer, speechwriter, memoir ghostwriter, or literary critic.
• Background in assessing complex literary works over multiple genres and formats.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, language models, editorial evaluations, or content reviewing initiatives is an advantage.

Compensation and Engagement

• Hourly pay ranging from $75 to $100.
• Payments disbursed weekly.
• Contractor status engagement.
