Production Supervisor - Night Shift

Overview

An established medical device manufacturer located in County Clare, Ireland, is seeking a Night Shift Production Supervisor to lead their production team. The role involves ensuring consistent achievement of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity goals while maintaining a high-performing work environment during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate production activities across IA and AU value streams independently within defined procedures during the night shift.
• Organize and prioritize workload to fulfill production quotas and meet customer demands.
• Provide operational support and fill in supervisory roles as necessary.
• Track and enhance KPI performance via daily Tier 1 management practices.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and promote Lean manufacturing principles.
• Create a collaborative and motivated team atmosphere, assisting with onboarding and growth of new employees.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Completion of Leaving Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
• At least six years of relevant experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of quality management systems within regulated operational settings.
• Capability to work autonomously and make sound operational decisions in fast-paced conditions.
