Role Overview
Join our Hobart manufacturing team as a Production Operator, actively contributing to machine operation, quality assurance, and troubleshooting within a dynamic production environment. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing production efficiency, product consistency, and waste minimization while adhering to key safety and environmental standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and set up production machinery to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing activities.
- Conduct regular quality checks on products, processes, and equipment, promptly addressing any deviations in your assigned area.
- Perform basic fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of equipment issues, escalating problems to reduce production interruptions when necessary.
- Adhere to rigorous safety protocols, food safety regulations, and environmental policies to maintain a compliant and safe workplace.
- Engage in initiatives that bolster productivity, reduce waste, foster teamwork, and strengthen communication across the production unit.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) manufacturing within the food, dairy, or beverage sectors is essential.
- Demonstrates unwavering commitment to safety, with a consistent approach to following procedures and policies.
- Capable of making informed decisions and resolving problems effectively under pressure while maintaining composure.
- Excels at juggling multiple responsibilities without compromising on quality or attention to detail.
