Role Overview

The Production Operations Manager will oversee teams comprising up to 100 members. This role demands close collaboration with product units and utilizes expertise in people and project management to continuously enhance operational procedures and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage both direct and indirect report teams effectively.
• Determine priority projects for the team and establish accelerated timelines for goal achievement.
• Champion team growth by mentoring and enabling members to maximize their capabilities.
• Exemplify leadership by tackling challenging customer issues and maintaining consistent high team performance.
• Coordinate with international teams to elevate service quality continually.
• Break down intricate business challenges to make informed strategic decisions using advanced data analysis.
• Introduce and refine systems and processes to enhance exceptional customer service foundations.
• Develop and streamline scalable processes to support rapid organizational growth.
• Take ownership of business metrics and enhance team decision-making efficiency and quality.
• Forge and maintain strong partnerships with vendors to drive beneficial deals.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• A 2:1 degree or higher from a top-tier university.
• Background or degree in engineering welcomed.
• Proven experience in structured, KPI-driven environments such as startups.
• Leadership experience overseeing large teams including both direct and indirect reports.
• Skillful leader with creativity, confidence, and motivational ability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills alongside adept people management.
• Capability to thrive in fast-paced, multifaceted contexts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills demonstrated through impactful project execution improving key metrics.
• Logical and analytical mindset with experience in addressing team productivity and quality challenges efficiently.
• Ability to detect operational inefficiencies and implement practical improvements.
• Proficient in data-driven methodologies to identify root causes, monitor performance, and enhance processes.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Familiarity with SQL, Python, and/or R programming languages.
• Certifications in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
