Role Summary
This full-time Production Manager position is located onsite in the Riyadh Region and concentrates on the manufacturing of latex examination and surgical gloves. The manager will oversee daily plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, output monitoring, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day production activities and lead production teams.
- Assign tasks, resolve operational challenges, and coordinate with maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain departments to minimize downtime and waste.
- Analyze production data to optimize processes such as dipping, curing, finishing, and packaging.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
- Prepare reports, support audits and certifications, and enforce health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with leadership to align production capacity with business goals and customer demand.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive experience in latex examination and surgical glove manufacturing processes including dipping, leaching, curing, stripping, and packing.
- Proven ability to manage production lines, schedule outputs, control inventory, and meet delivery deadlines.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, in-process controls, defect reduction, and compliance with regulatory standards such as medical device regulations, ISO, and GMP.
- Leadership skills in managing, training, and monitoring production staff while fostering a safety-conscious workplace.
- Understanding of industrial health and safety practices with experience implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Competence with production KPIs, statistical tools, and data analysis for troubleshooting and process improvement.
- Strong communication and coordination capabilities to work cross-functionally.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience in glove manufacturing.
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience in a regulated medical glove manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite in the Riyadh Region in a dynamic, shift-based production environment.
