Role Overview

As a Production Line Machine Operator, you will be essential to keeping the production process flowing smoothly on the factory floor. This hands-on role requires managing machinery setups and upkeep while consistently ensuring premium product quality. Physical strength to lift up to 25 kilograms regularly is necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor various production machines such as filling equipment, labellers, and packing machinery.
• Measure and batch ingredients accurately to meet production standards.
• Conduct quality inspections and maintain detailed production records.
• Keep the work environment and machines clean and properly arranged, especially during product changeovers.
• Carry out routine machine maintenance activities like lubricating, tightening, and cleaning.
• Document machine breakdowns and communicate issues promptly to the team.
• Follow strict safety protocols to ensure both workplace safety and product integrity.

Candidate Profile

• Experience or knowledge in filling, cooking, and batching processes is preferred.
• Background in food manufacturing or a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) facility is advantageous.
• Adaptable, willing to multi-skill across different tasks.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to navigate production challenges.
• Physically capable of lifting weights over 25 kg consistently throughout shifts.
• Proficient organisational and numerical skills.
• Mechanical insight to understand and maintain equipment efficiently.
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality focus.
• Possession of a forklift license is beneficial but not mandatory.
